WordPress Developer is expected to optimize the applications, ensure UI/UX feasibility, and implement API designs and architecture.

Job responsibilities
• Enhance and modify existing applications as needed to add new features or improve user- experience
• Interact and communicate with designers, developers, QA engineers, copywriters, product owners and others in order to understand the requirements and scope of work
• Provide engineering advice for technical/architectural issues
• Manage the website back-end including database and server integration
• Develop new plugins with high code quality
• Collaborate with Project Manager and team to develop and maintain highly visible client websites
Required qualifications
• Good understanding of PHP back-end development
• Good understanding of WordPress and ability to do custom changes in the website.
• Understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React
• Understanding of code versioning tools (we use Git)
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs with JSON format
• Must have demonstrated experience working within a CMS to create and update web pages
• Working experience with MySQL or other databases is a plus
• Experience with creating custom themes
• Experience with different page builders (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery)
• Experience with Gutenberg
